NICE TO HAVE OUR TEST PILOT HELP WITH SOME SWITCHBLADE ENGINE TUNING – December 9, 2019
When our Test Pilot Ron McElroy was in town late last week, he assisted us on a couple of engine tunes. For this stationary tune, using the prop, Ron controlled the throttle, Sean Bliss monitored the tune data and gauges on the laptop (right seat), David Nobles (by passenger door) took vibration readings with a sensor and Ron Burch (off camera to the right) used a heat gun to get heat readings in the engine bay.
