During our most recent testing in Moses Lake, WA the Switchblade took it’s third and longest hop down the runway! Test Pilot Robert Moelhe flew it almost a mile, about 10-15 feet above the runway. The prototype handled well but there was still some nose up and down motion that we didn’t expect to have this time. The engineering team dove into a very in-depth analysis, including consulting with several top aeronautical engineers. The consensus was that the culprit was sticky flight controls. Modifications are well underway now and we are preparing for our next Mose Lake testing at this time.
