The Samson Team put in another long day and was treated to this beautiful sunset at the testing airport. If you look closely you can see some yarn tufts on several of the tail surfaces. These are used to show airflow while in motion and are filmed by a GoPro camera so we can review the data after our test runs. This photo also shows the inlet side of the radiator air scoop, which forces more air into the radiator to provide greater cooling.
