THE BACK STORY: Melissa got her pilot’s license several years ago while her husband Jim has been flying since he was 17 and has also built 4 kit aircraft. Jim told us, “Melissa has always wanted a flying car, so after researching Samson Sky I decided to surprise her. I walked her into their pavilion at AirVenture and that was it. She reserved her Switchblade less than an hour later!”
