Engineer Tanner Vaughn is getting his talented hands dirty putting together the rear suspension drop test components for an upcoming test. The drop test for the rear suspension was done and passed earlier, but we have changed springs since that time. On the last drop test, the force-measurement device we used was switched to a digital unit and we later found this unit was prone to spikes in output, beyond the actual forces involved. Our earlier testing was done with a mechanical gauge that is state-of-the-industry, and we are going to re-do that last drop test of the suspension to confirm we have accurate information and that the new springs are safe to use.
