This week Tanner Vaughn and team did an excellent job installing the new gears we had custom made for the gear reduction between the engine and the propeller. These gears allow us to spin the propeller at its designed speed but reduce the rpm of the engine so it’s not having to spin up so high. This photo shows the work in progress – half the gear case installed and one of the 3 gears in place.
