Samson Sky held our annual VIP dinner for Owners and Investors at AirVenture and during the briefing, it was released that the engineering team had been hard at work to reduce the empty weight of the vehicle to allow for a higher useful load.

The next parts being made are the front quarter panels on the left and right side of the nose of the vehicle. With this, we should have a completed nose cone as the first completed sub-assembly for the Switchblade.

Last month, Samson had the great opportunity to exhibit at the world’s leading composites show – JEC WORLD 2025 – in Paris, France. This huge event just celebrated their 60th year.

As you may recall, we shifted from making wings first to making the body first. The reasoning being that we could complete the body and be testing on the ground while we finished making the wings and tail. Then we bolt on wings and tail and do flight testing into the fall and early winter.
